Stair nosings are a vital part of creating a visually appealing flight of stairs. At Twisted Timber we specialise in creating a seamless solution to a lack of job specific nosings available. We manufacture all of our nosings using job specific timber, this ensures a direct match to the flooring used throughout the job. All variations of nosing can be manufactured to any specification required.
STANDARD STAIR NOSING
DESCRIPTION
Standard stair nosings are commonly used where a bullnose effect is desired while the underside of the nosing is not visible.

MITRED RETURN STAIR NOSING
DESCRIPTION
Mitred return stair nosings are commonly used where a bullnose effect is desired while the underside of the nosing is visible. Creating the mitred return allows a seamless finish from all angles

RAKED STAIR NOSING
DESCRIPTION
Raked stair nosings are commonly used where a bullnose effect is desired while creating an angle less than 90 degrees to match the riser. These can be made in the "standard", "waterfall" or "mitred return" style.

CUSTOM INSERT STAIR NOSING
DESCRIPTION
Custom metal inserts can be applied to any style of nosing in order to meet non slip regulations or to create an additional visual element. Metal inserts are available in a variety of sizes, metals and finishes to suit your needs.
WATERFALL STAIR NOSING
DESCRIPTION
Waterfall stair nosings are commonly used where a bullnose effect is not desired. These nosings create a modern look where the timber appears to flow over the tread into the riser. Both tread and riser piece size can be changed to suit preferences.
